Reporting Yes/No Questions

-When reporting yes/no questions, it is especially important to pay attention to sentence order and   connect the reported question using 'if'

-Delete the auxiliary ‘do’ when changing into reported speech

-Change the verb tense as usual.

For example:

• She asked, "Do you want to come with me?" BECOMES She asked me if I wanted to come with her.

Practice:

1-“Can  you help me please.”

The old woman asked  Fatima

2-“Did you meat the manager last night?”

The secretary wanted to know

3-“Does your cat eat the meat?”

John asked his son
