The Title of the Project:  Reported Speech

Grade: First Secondary Class

Age: 16-17 years of age.

The main objective:

Enable students to communicate in English throughout the Internet Web.

Educational Objectives :

1-Reinforce  students’ skills in reading and writing.

2-Be familiar with  a number of changes occur in the reported clause.

3-Give the meaning of what was said without using the exact words.

4-Employ what students learn about Reported Speech in real life situations.

Means of communication:

Emails addresses

Activities scheduled for students throughout the project :

     1-Divide students into groups and every group has its own leader who  

         in turn contacts with the teacher.

     2-Make students create new email addresses,

     3- Train Instruct students how to  read, send and save messages.

     4- Instruct students how to search  for information in the web.

     5-Students Exchange information with students.

Communicative Activities used in the project:

      Students have practiced:

     1-Exchanging information or files with attachments by emails.

     2-Reading messages and saving email addresses .

     3-Analysing and selecting the most related data and save them.

     4-Classifying the final refined information under titles.

Time schedule:

Seven weeks divided as the following:

First week: 8-15 Feb. making emails, practicing checking and composing messages

Second week: 15-22 Feb. Searching for information in the web and save.

Third week: 22-29 Feb. sending selected information to groups in China

Forth week: 1-8 March Receiving information and data from China and reading them.

Fifth Week: 8-15 March sending questions about some issues about the topic

Sixth week: 15-22 March  Receiving answers for the questions, analyzing, selecting ,refining and classifying information

Seventh week: 22-29 March The students participated in Building a web site.
